We offer a wide range of catering services using top quality food and beverages. Working together, we can customize everything from light snacks and coffee to full service banquets.

Catering policies

We require 2-3 business days notice of simple catering requests and 5-7 business days for specialized menu requests. Confirmation of guests must be guaranteed two business days prior to the event. Groups over 100 people must guarantee their guest count five business days prior to the event. 

Once your service has been finalized, minor modifications will be accepted up to two business days prior to the event. Although we will make all effort to accommodate your requests, we cannot guarantee additions or changes to your order outside of this time frame.

Cancellation policy

For groups of less than 75:

  • Cancellation 24-48 hours before the event will result in 50% of the contract total being billed.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the event, will result in 100% of the contract total being billed.

For groups of 75 or more:

  • Cancellation five business days before the event, will result in 40% of the contract total being billed.
    Cancellation 24-48 hours before the event, will result in 100% of the contract total being billed.

These policies apply to all orders booked online, via e-mail, phone or in person.

Delivery charges

No delivery fee will be charged for Main campus deliveries. Any outside deliveries, including satellite campuses, will be subject to a delivery charge starting at $10.

Food intolerances and allergies

Hospitality Services is committed to the satisfaction and safety of all our guests. Although we do not have an allergen-free kitchen space, we take every precaution to ensure dietary restrictions are met. Some manufacturers may change their procedures or formula without our knowledge, and availability may fluctuate. We cannot completely guarantee our products are allergen free.

It is the responsibility of the guest with dietary restrictions to make the final judgment whether to question the ingredients and choose to eat the product offered to them.

Food safety

All items remaining after the event are the property of Saskatchewan Polytechnic Hospitality Services. Following provincial food safety guidelines, food will be removed from the room after service.  


Hospitality Services does not accept gratuities.


For Saskatchewan Polytechnic internal org charges

  • All product delivered to the event will be billed for on the day of your event. Your Org# will be charged through our POS system for the full sum of your request. You will receive a receipt by email.  A copy of this receipt will also be sent to AR for processing. If changes need to be made, please let us know by emailing, replying to all, within 24 hours so the changes can be made, and billing is correct.  

For external events

  • All catering requests must be paid in full by cash, debit, or credit card two business days prior to your event. Any incidentals after initial payment must be paid at the time of your event.

Set up

It is the responsibility of your group to ensure that all set-up requirements for delivery have been arranged (tables for delivered products, space for attendees to eat, etc.) prior to delivery. If a Hospitality Services staff member is required to prepare the area for delivery, additional charges will apply. Staff charges are $30/hour with a minimum of three-hour charge.
